About the Author
Timothy Morigeau was born on a reservation in Montana but grew up in Milpitas CA in the San Francisco Bay Area. He moved to the bay as a child when his father secured a career at NASA. He grew up watching and loving shows like Sailor Moon, Star Trek: The Next Generation and other science fiction, anime and fantasy shows and movies. His love for space and learning about the unknown is a huge part of his writing and his interests in life. He would stay up late at night writing multiple fictional stories and comics as a child, which is when he discovered his love for telling stories.
He earned his computer science degree in game programming and simulation because of his love of video games. Star Empress Trine was originally designed as a video game, but he eventually pivoted himself to finishing and publishing the novel first. Collaborating with his childhood best friend Dexter Padilla, they started plotting out the story together as young adults, and Timothy agreed to use his writing abilities to bring the story to the world.

Dexter Padilla and Timothy Morigeau have been best friends since grade school. Growing up together they would create stories and enjoy anime, video games, JPOP and many other things together. Dexter has brought his imagination and creativity to collaboratively bring Star Empress Trine : The Search for Unity to life.
Volume 2 : Believer, features Dexter's character, Ani. He designed her and the characters in her volume working with Timothy. The story of Ani is a reflection of Dexter's life turned into a fantasy sci-fi story. Readers will have a unique experience while enjoying Volume 2, experiencing Dexter's vision on the pages of the book.
Currently residing in the San Francisco Bay Area as well, Dexter enjoys dancing, physical activities, international music, anime, and art in general.
